Branding Tutorial:
PageQ Business gives you 3 options to brand
the Title and Separator pages of the Qs you create:
- brand the Title and Separator pages
with a 750 x 100 pixel 'Top Banner' of your own design.
The title, author, web site, contact details and notes still
appear on the title page below your banner. A browser who
clicks on your banner will be re-directed to the web site
address you include on the Title Page (set in menu File,
Q Properties).
- create a background for Title and Separator
pages. If you choose this option the title, author, web
site, contact details and notes you enter in Q Properties
will still appear with your image as a background. Suggested
size 750 x 550 pixels. There is no click through.
- you can completely replace the Title
or Separator pages with an html page of your design. In
this case none of the Q Properties information will be displayed.
Note: you can see examples of each
of these options in the Daily Browse sample Q.

Steps to get your branding
working:
First choose the type of branding and the information
you want displayed on your Title or Separator page from the
options above.
1. Create
the graphic or html page in any format supported by the
web (.gif for graphics suggested).
2. Then
upload it to your website. Take careful note of the address.
It is case sensitive. Note:
After you have uploaded the graphic or page to your web
site perform this test: enter the address in your normal
browser and the graphic will be displayed. If it doesn't
display, you have the wrong address. Get this right before
proceeding.
3. Then
update the Title and/or Separator pages you want branded
in your Q. There are three ways to get to the dialog boxes
that control branding: Highlight the page you want to brand
in the tree then: a. right click the mouse, b. use ctrl-b
hotkey or c. select Publish, Title Page Properties. Select
the branding option and enter the address of the graphic
and you're done.
The following screen shots are taken while
setting up the Daily Browse sample Q that is shipped with
the product. The first screen shot is the title page being
branded with a top banner. The second is a separator page
being branded with a background image.
