General Information:

What is pageQ? PageQ is a browser, a bookmark manager and a media player for web pages, all rolled into one application. It looks and works just like any other browser.

In simple terms:
Use the pageQ application as your browser window and surf the web as usual. When you find a page you want to keep, capture it with the camera icon into a list. This list or Q is displayed next to the browser window. It can be manipulated just like any other file list.

PageQ's additional toolbar has video type buttons (record, play, pause, stop, rewind etc...) which control the Qs your create. The Q can also be sent to another person or uploaded to a web site. They can play the Q whether they have the pageQ software or not.

Major Functions:

1. Favorites Manager PageQ allows you to organize your favorite sites into playlists of web pages. You can sort however you want... by subject, by research session, by hobby etc... Then you can send the playlist to a friend or business associate.

2. Web Page Player Using the pageQ browsing and player toolbars you can create, edit, play, save and send Qs. Your existing favorites and history are available in PageQ for a fast start. Just drag and drop from your existing favorites , or history into a Q. Alternatively, type a url directly into the address bar or surf about and capture the pages you want to keep into your Q. Then save the Q.

3. A playlist of web sites A Q is your list of pages ordered into your play sequence. You can create your own Qs, save them and play them back later.

4. Send to a friend The html Q is a special combination of the page sequence and the player software all rolled into one. The beauty of an html Q is that you can send it to a friend and your friend doesn't need pageQ to play it back! The html Q launches directly in their browser!

Definition of terms:

A Q (queue) is a playlist of internet browser navigation. You can think of it as a list of URLs or a sequence of web pages. The Q is a file pageQ creates. There are two types of Q (both can be created by the pageQ application)

• one has a file extension .pgq. This can be played, paused, rewound, fast forwarded, edited, saved, sent etc... using the pageQ application
• the other has a file extension .html and is called an 'html Q'. It is a read only format and dispalys in any browser.

An html Q has both the player software and the web page sequence imbedded in it. This file can be emailed to and played by another user and they don't need the pageQ software.

Which Version is right for you?

is provided free for home or educational use. This is as good as any place to start. There is no support for the free Home version. Businesses may use this product only as a 30 day trial.
